Planned civil engineering projects in the Rossau 2026 district
More than one million euros to be invested
At the Neighborhood Breakfast #3 - Rossau Dialogues, Mayor Johannes Anzengruber and City Councillor Mariella Lutz reaffirmed their commitment and dedication to the Rossau business district. The aim is to continue to drive forward and implement the transformation of the largest economic area in western Austria, which was initiated with the Rossau location offensive. At the time, Mayor Johannes Anzengruber already held out the prospect of annual investments in Rossau amounting to 1 million euros.
On 27 November, City Councillor Mariella Lutz and Mayor Johannes Anzengruber provided information about their departmental budget and selected projects for 2026. Two specific projects in the Rossau district were named in this context: 1.05 million euros will be invested in the redesign of the Archenweg / Grabenweg intersection and a further 140,000 euros will be invested in adapting the sidewalks at the Grabenweg / Griesauweg traffic circle. The redesign of the road space, including safe crossings and modern cycling infrastructure as well as new recreational areas with trees and green spaces, contribute to the goals of the Rossau location offensive and make Rossau a more attractive location for businesses, their employees and customers.
