Jazz, Funk, and Soul Under the Open Sky

On October 17, 2026 , the green space between the Inn River and the Agnes-Heller-Haus will become a gathering place for an afternoon and evening filled with music, enjoyment, and good company. Live music—including performances by local acts—fine dining, plenty of space to relax—and the Inn River right next door.
From jazz to funk, soul, and pop, a diverse musical program will provide the perfect soundtrack all day long. There will also be a colorful program for children and families featuring creative and hands-on activities, as well as a wide variety of culinary offerings from local partners. A day to listen, discover, enjoy, and linger.

INSIDE THE BIG BANDThe Big Band captivates audiences with a unique soul-and-jazz program—one written specifically for this band. Nothing here is off-the-shelf; you’ll only hear it here. In addition to international classics given a fresh twist, the set list also includes several classics by the legendary Kurt Ostbahn. The Big Band takes the stage with a full lineup of 14 horn players, a rhythm section, and, above all, its exceptional vocal soloists. The InnSeit’n Big Band is the big band of the Innsbruck Music School. | ||

Sam Siefert Ensemble ProjectExploring the boundaries between sound and emotion. The Sam Siefert Project is a musical collective that explores sonic spaces beyond stylistic boundaries. Led by composer and drummer Sam Siefert, the ensemble unfolds an atmospheric sonic cosmos that spans jazz, Afrobeat, improvised music, and cinematic expanses. With a rotating cast of musicians from diverse stylistic backgrounds, the Sam Siefert Ensemble Project is constantly evolving: at times chamber-like, at times orchestral, at times electronically distorted—but always with a clear focus on sonic depth, dynamics, and expression. | ||
