Corporate Design
What does the revised appearance of the Innsbruck brand look like?

The appearance of the Innsbruck brand has been further developed jointly by Innsbruck Marketing, the City of Innsbruck and Innsbruck Tourism. It is not a redesign, but a fresh cell cure from which the brand should emerge stronger. The logo remains. What has changed is its appearance: a modern corporate design that is digital and accessible, with fresher colors, more legible typography and an authentic visual language in photos and films. The design system is designed as a modular construction kit - open to emotionality and individuality, clear for a common appearance across all partners.
The logo
The Innsbruck logo remains
The umbrella brand logo of Innsbruck is strong, has a high visual presence and is clear and compact in form. It is the visual anchor for the communication of the three umbrella brand partners Innsbruck Marketing, the City of Innsbruck and Innsbruck Tourism.
The logo was not changed in the further development - it remains. For Innsbruck Tourism, the addition of the word "Region" has been added - making it clear that there is more to the logo than "just" the city.

The logo as a design element
Innsbruck opens up.
As a design element, the logo opens up - it becomes a bracket and offers space to be. Makes room for new things. Gives people a stage. The bracket is a design element in marketing and is used in campaigns, advertising materials and digital appearances. Sovereign documents, official documents etc. remain unaffected. The use of the bracket as a design element is reserved for the umbrella brand partners Innsbruck Marketing, the City of Innsbruck and Innsbruck Tourism.

The colors

Innsbruck will be colorful.
Colorful. Harmonious. Barrier-free. The basic colors red and black are joined by new colors in which nothing has been left to chance. The variety of colors allows for barrier-friendly contrasts and reflects the alpine-urban joie de vivre.
All colors have a connection to Innsbruck and create the basis for a consistent brand image.
The fonts

It's a pleasure to meet you, PLEASURE.
Striking, dynamic, with a breath of fresh air. Good branding has beautiful fonts. That's why the existing house font for headlines and lead texts gets strong support from Pleasure. Alto remains for body text, only normal.
What does this mean in terms of implementation?
Innsbruck has something to say.
How does Innsbruck make an impact? We have defined five areas of impact that describe the special features of the city and make visible what makes Innsbruck unique:
- 360° alpine-urban experience
- Sporty, relaxed atmosphere
- Knowledge hub
- Cosmopolitan and connected
- Ecologically excellent
We have defined messages for each of these areas of activity - three examples are shown here, all others can be found in the city!
