When the mountains are close enough to touch and the city is celebrating, it's Mountain New Year's Eve. Innsbruck bids farewell to the old year with a great atmosphere in the city center, cool sounds, a wintry atmosphere and a unique mix of urban life and alpine scenery.

The mountain New Year's Eve starts at 11 am with a cozy morning pint in the old town. From 3:30 pm, the New Year's Eve run provides sporting highlights and enthusiastic spectators along the route. When night falls, the city is transformed into a huge open-air celebration: from 9 pm, parties in front of the Hofburg and on the market square invite you to celebrate, dance and toast the New Year together.

For all those who want to continue the party, it continues directly after the open-air parties at the Bergsilvester-Clubbing in the Dogana in the Congresshaus - with beats, club sound and the best atmosphere until the early hours of the morning.

Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the city, meeting friends or simply enjoying the special flair - the turn of the year in Innsbruck is relaxed, lively and anything but ordinary.
