Good solutions are rarely created on the drawing board, but through discussion. This is precisely the strength of the Rossau district management: bringing the right people together.

The neighborhood breakfast: plain talking allowed

The neighborhood breakfast is the low-threshold meeting format of the Rossau neighborhood management. It is not a formal protocol, but an open meeting where entrepreneurs, city politicians, the Chamber of Commerce and the neighborhood management get into conversation with each other. Direct and sometimes heated. Because if you really want to move Rossau forward, you have to be allowed to put uncomfortable topics on the table.

At Neighborhood Breakfast #5, topics relating to street design and renovation, parking space requirements, energy supply and the economic development of the area were put on the table. Topics that show: Rossau is growing - and needs the right framework conditions.

The street and its realities

The road widths in Rossau have grown historically and limit the possibilities for redesign. If, for example, parking bays are built as part of projects to make the street more attractive, a sidewalk must also be built alongside them. For this reason, longitudinal parking will primarily be possible in Rossau in the future.

The dialog between those who know the guidelines and those who know everyday life in the district enables the development of tailor-made solutions.

The next major participation process is the big picture for the future of street design and connections: What is needed where? What is possible? What is necessary? Neighborhood management will again actively accompany this process - networking, moderating, solution-oriented.
