IKB is currently building at the Langer Weg - Valiergasse - Gumppstraße - Radetzkystraße intersection
At the intersection of Langer Weg - Valiergasse - Gumppstraße - Radetzkystraße, IKB is adapting the sewer system in several construction phases by the end of 2026. The existing infrastructure is to be relieved and additional storage space for rainwater is to be created. To this end, a new bypass and storage sewer will be built in Gumppstrasse between Langer Weg and Andechsstrasse.
Overview of traffic restrictions until the end of 2025
During construction phases 1 to 3, excavations will take place at the Langer Weg - Valiergasse - Gumppstraße - Radetzkystraße intersection. There will be several changes to traffic routing during this time. Detours will be signposted and pedestrian routes will be provided. The following traffic restrictions are to be expected during this time:
construction phase 1: Start September 22, 2025; duration 3 to 4 weeks
- Access to Valiergasse only possible from Lange Weg in a southerly direction
- Access from the other directions closed
CURRENT / construction phase 2: duration 6 to 8 weeks
- Access from the junction into Valiergasse from ALL directions CLOSED
construction phase 3: Duration 2 to 3 weeks, expected end December 19, 2025
- All traffic routes at the intersection are possible
