Construction Work at the Griesauweg Roundabout

Construction work will take place at the Griesauweg roundabout from October 12 through, tentatively, early December 2026. To avoid traffic congestion, it is recommended that you use Langer Weg to access Rossau whenever possible.

The following traffic restrictions will be in effect:

• The roundabout will be reduced to a single lane. Exits in all directions will remain open.
• Entry into the roundabout from the east via Grabenweg is closed. Traffic will be rerouted via Valiergasse.
• Bus traffic is also being rerouted via Valiergasse. You can find the latest traffic updates here.
• A safe detour will be set up for pedestrians.

Traffic Restrictions at the "Baggerseekreuzung" Intersection

Starting September 21, extensive utility excavation work will take place in the area of Archenweg and Grabenweg (“Baggerseekreuzung”) for up to four weeks. The restrictions affect motor vehicle traffic, bicycle traffic, and public transportation.

Restrictions for motor vehicle traffic:

• Grabenweg will be closed to all traffic between Archenweg and the entrance to the Tomaselli company during construction.
• The detour runs via Trientlgasse and Griesauweg. Depending on the direction of travel, the detour route follows the reverse order.
• Traffic may still pass through Archenweg toward Baggersee without restriction. The speed limit in the construction zone is 30.

Restrictions for cyclists:

• The Inn Bike Path “Promenade Archenweg” is closed in the construction zone. Cyclists are being rerouted via the sidewalk. Bicycles must be walked on this section.

Restrictions for public transportation:

• During construction, buses will be rerouted via Griesauweg and Trientlgasse. All bus stops will continue to be served according to the schedule. Up-to-date information can be found on the IVB website.
