KRAPOLDI Festival

On 21 and 22 August 2026, the KRAPOLDI Festival will bring spectacular street art and contemporary circus to the heart of Innsbruck's city center. For the first time, a breathtaking highline crossing between St. Jakob's Cathedral and the city tower will provide a visual highlight above the rooftops of the old town. Cirque on Edge, an extraordinary circus installation, will be created on the market square: a 10-metre truss bridge will become a stage for artistry, balancing skills and surprising performances. The Bolzano square becomes the setting for an energetic, humorous outdoor show with the FeuerWer? ensemble and a real fire engine. On Maria-Theresien-Straße, visitors can expect a varied program of performances, walk acts and an extensive range of family activities that will transform the promenade into an open, playful festival area. KRAPOLDI 2026 combines spectacular high-altitude moments, urban art and low-threshold cultural offerings - freely accessible, in the heart of Innsbruck and accessible to all generations.

From 25 to 30 August 2026, the KRAPOLDI Festival will continue its program in Rapoldipark . An atmospheric festival zone for new circus, clowning and international street theater will be created there, inspiring visitors with poetic, spectacular and humorous productions. A meeting place for all generations - and a cultural highlight in the open air at the end of the summer.
