CARNIVAL TUESDAY
On Shrove Tuesday, 17 February 2026, Innsbruck's city center will be transformed into a colourful stage for living customs, music and a varied family program. For the first time, a large carnival parade will take place, which will be organized together with traditional Innsbruck clubs, bands and carnival groups.

In cooperation with Innsbruck's traditional groups, the parade moves from Boznerplatz via Meraner Straße to Maria-Theresien-Straße. Along the route, short performances and planned show stops ensure a colorful and lively carnival experience.
Children's carnival at Sparkassenplatz | 14:00-18:00
A separate, quieter children's area is available for families. Craft and play stations, hands-on activities and face painting for children ensure an exuberant carnival atmosphere for the youngest visitors.

A varied entertainment program with presenter Eric Papilaya and DJ Benny awaits visitors on a large stage. From 6 p.m., the young Tyrolean party band Youngblood will set the mood. The participating groups will also be presenting themselves. A photo box and a 360-degree video box will ensure that visitors can take a souvenir home with them. Catering stands from local businesses round off the offer.
The Tyrolean band Youngblood stands for energetic live performances and can be seen regularly at well-known event locations in Tyrol. As a six-piece cover band, it offers a broad repertoire spanning several decades - from classics from the 80s and 90s to current chart hits. Youngblood's great enthusiasm and closeness to the audience ensure an exuberant atmosphere and a full dance floor.
