BOGENFEST

On May 30, 2026 , it's that time again: the Bogenmeile transforms Innsbruck into a vibrant space for music, art, participation and encounters. The Bogenfest opens the festival summer for the fifth time and once again celebrates vibrant urbanity and Innsbruck's diverse social potential. In 2026, the Bogenfest will once again stand for openness, cohesion and creative energy. A wide variety of people, sounds and ideas come together here - informally and in the middle of the city. Accessible free of charge, low-threshold and full of opportunities to join in, discover and celebrate.
Five stages, countless perspectives:
As always, the Park Stage presents a wide variety of musical genres, while the program on the Rambazamba Stage focuses on electronic styles. There is also a stage for breakdancing, hip-hop and graffiti, as well as one for singer-songwriters and indie programs, and the Riffrausch stage is the perfect place for all lovers of harder music and local gems. In addition, interventions and surprise performances pop up again and again along the Bogenmeile.
And that's what makes the Bogenfest so special:
An extensive children's and family program, this year including a sports and exercise program as well as discourse formats. Culture to watch, join in and think. The Bogenfest is more than just a festival: it is a statement and a temporary urban space in which diversity becomes visible and encounters are a matter of course - family-friendly during the day, full of energy in the evening, always respectful and open.
Important travel information: Due to the demonstration on the Brenner highway and the associated road closures, we strongly recommend traveling by public transport.

Kulturbogen 55
Closing of the Architecture Days at Kulturbogen55
18:00 - 22:00
Infrastructure buildings and facilities are omnipresent in our daily lives - and yet often remain in the background. How infrastructure not only ensures that everyday life runs as smoothly as possible, but also significantly influences the shape and form of urban and rural spaces, is the focus of the Austria-wide Architecture Days 2026.
Built in the mid-19th century, the railroad viaduct is the largest infrastructural structure in the city of Innsbruck. While the ÖBB railway line runs above, the arches below are largely developed and are used by craft businesses, workshops, cultural institutions and numerous restaurants. As the Architecture Days coincide with the Arch Festival taking place here this year, it made sense to celebrate their conclusion here. There will be a small exhibition on the history of the viaduct arches and the former Sill Canal in Kulturbogen55.
In cooperation with aut. architektur und tirol, Lisa Sommer and the Innsbruck City Archive/Museum

HNRX Live Painting | reverse glass painting
Tyrolean artist HNRX has already designed some of the arches along the Bogenmeile. At the Bogenfest, his art and work will be on display during the live painting at Bogen 70 (Marta).
In addition to the live painting, there will be an Artist Talk and Artwalk together with the artist and Quirin Müller along the Arch Mile from 4-5 pm. The talk will focus on his work on the Innsbruck viaduct arches, art in public space, the development of the Bogenmeile and his KEINHEITSBRAUN project.
Information on the 'KEINHEITSBRAUN' project
The Viaduktbögen form a dense network of cultural, social, gastronomic and craft businesses and organizations. It is precisely this diversity that gives them their charm, their diversity and not least their low-threshold character. The architecture of the arches is conducive to accommodating a wide variety of uses, businesses and forms of cultural expression. In recent years, however, more and more viaduct arches have been hollowed out, renovated and fitted with uniform Corten steel. As a result, one viaduct arch resembles another, and the character and uniqueness of this once so colorful pavement is gradually disappearing. With the KEINHEITSBRAUN project, the artist HNRX wants to set an example for a colorful and cultural mile of arches.
