Innsbruck celebrates diversity: a loving neighborhood festival in the heart of Arzl

The district tour entered its third round this year and enriched the cultural life of the city. in 2024, the tour made its first stop in Arzl, in the middle of the enchanting ambience of the village center. On 25 May from 2 p.m. , residents and visitors alike gathered for a special district festival, which was organized in close cooperation with the Arzl associations and Innsbruck Marketing.

Arzl is characterized by an active and comprehensive club culture, which is an important part of the community in this district. The incredible number of associations and institutions and their various activities were particularly evident at the district festival and were reflected in the varied program for young and old.

The local band and choir presented a broad musical repertoire and provided entertaining music. The shooting range required concentration and offered excitement. The children's Olympics organized by the sports club and the activities of the fire department promised exciting competitions and adventures for the youngest guests. Sheep from nearby farms were presented in a petting zoo. The library opened its doors for cultural insights, and theater performances by the local association were also a must.

For the youngest visitors, there was an exciting children's program full of fun and games. The Punch and Judy show delighted the young audience with its stories and made them laugh heartily. Creative minds could let off steam at the children's face painting and painting street and let their imagination run wild by transforming the street into a colorful landscape. Action and fun were guaranteed thanks to the bouncy castle and the fascinating performances of the stilt theater.

No festival is complete without music and culinary delights - visitors were able to relax and enjoy coffee and cake in the parish hall. Culinary delights were also provided at the fire department stand . The young farmers and Muller invited visitors to a bar area where the focus was on music and socializing. The Arzler wrestlers spoiled visitors with many a delicacy. The crowning finale was the forecourt of the Haus der Vereine in Krippengasse, where the band 'Tiroler Leben' provided a rousing atmosphere and a perfect end to the festival.
